Children, teenagers and adults at the Nyon practice
- Children
- A first check-up between the ages of 6 and 8 picks up problems in the development of the teeth or jaws early. Dr Taieb then decides whether treatment is needed, and when. See orthodontics for children.
- Teenagers
- Treatment often starts around the age of 11 or 12, with metal braces, ceramic braces or clear aligners.
- Adults
- Treatment uses clear aligners (Invisalign, Spark, Angel) or ceramic braces. Dr Taieb works with your dentist or other specialists where needed. See adult orthodontics and clear aligners.
If you need jaw surgery, Dr Taieb plans and carries out the orthodontic treatment before and after the operation, once growth is complete, together with your maxillofacial surgeon. For mild to moderate sleep apnoea diagnosed by your doctor, he has a custom mandibular advancement device made for you.
Impressions and X-rays are taken digitally. The practice is at Rue Juste-Olivier 8, on the 2nd floor, two minutes’ walk from Nyon railway station and the Perdtemps car park.
Insurance
Dr Taieb is recognised by invalidity insurance (AI) and supplementary health insurers.
